2035 Woodlake General Plan and Environmental Impact Report

Collins & Schoettler serves as contract city planners for Woodlake and the City’s existing General Plan was very dated and provided almost no meaningful policy guidance. The City contracted with Collins & Schoettler (on a time and materials basis) to update four of the six General Plan elements (Land Use, Circulation, Conservation and Open Space). The resulting General Plan designated sufficient available land to provide for 25 years of growth expected to occur in the community and implemented a number of smart growth policies, such as new street standards as well as a recommendation to update the City’s zoning ordinance (also completed by Collins & Schoettler).
