Collins and Schoettler: Great Designs

Here at Collins & Schoettler, not a day goes by that we don't hear about a community struggling with a franchise or national retailer - where the community wants a project that will look good and fit into the local landscape - and the franchise wants to build a "bare-bones" standard box prototype just like they've tried to do in every other city.

Thinking about this dilemna, we got a great idea. Why not have a website where people could send photos of great projects they've seen or worked on?!? Then, other communities struggling with a project can see what a particular company was willing to do somewhere else in the country. What a great idea!! We call it the "Great Designs Clearinghouse".

To start the clearinghouse off, we're featuring a few great designs that we've seen or worked on. If you have a great design, please e-mail us. You can send photos, site plans or written descriptions. Please send all photos and site plans in JPEG format to: cands@weplancities.com. If you're not web-savy, simply mail us photos and plans and we'll scan them onto our site. Please include your e-mail address or telephone number. Have fun!!
